T35 Medical Student Program

The goal of the FAER T35 Medical Student Program is to support research among medical students by providing an opportunity to present their work among peers and established scientists in the specialty of anesthesiology. The FAER T35 Program provides a $1,500 grant to invited anesthesiology departments to help defray the cost of sending one of their T35 medical students to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) ANESTHESIOLOGY® annual meeting to present research or a scholarly project. This program sponsors medical students who are considering a research path as part of their career.

Application Deadlines

Applications for the T35 Program will open April 15. The deadline to submit a T35 application and associated ASA member application is June 1, 2026.
