In support of strengthening the visibility and voice of the specialty as a leader in the health care ecosystem, collaboration continued with our 53 component societies, 15 affiliated subspecialty societies, and 13 international societies.
The Pain Medicine Coalition, founded by ASA and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, continued to advocate for responsible, high-quality pain care, policy, education, and research for patients and professionals.
Approved the Society for Technology in Anesthesia as an affiliated subspecialty society of ASA.
Successfully executed the 2025 ASA Charitable Foundation Global Scholars Program with seven scholars representing Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon, Ghana, and Zambia.
Finalized an agreement to host the first licensed “Best of the ANESTHESIOLOGY® Annual Meeting” event in India.
Signed new Memorandums of Understanding with the Latin American Confederation of Anesthesiology Societies and the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists.
