This year marks the 35th anniversary of ASAPAC's distinguished leadership in healthcare advocacy. Over the past three and a half decades, ASAPAC has supported advocacy efforts on behalf of anesthesiologists and the patients we serve. The milestone reflects a sustained commitment to engagement in the policymaking process and to advancing issues important to the specialty.
ASAPAC is the political component of the American Society of Anesthesiologists—a separate fund within ASA devoted solely to permitting anesthesiology to participate in elections involving the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. In some states, ASAPAC is also able to participate in gubernatorial elections.
