Nominations and Appointments

Committee and editorial board nominations are open from mid-November to January 15. After multilayered chair reviews, notifications are sent in summer for the following governance year.

The president appoints members of committees to fill vacancies as they occur, unless otherwise specified in the administrative procedures (APs). Committee and editorial board members serve one to three year terms as specified for each group in the bylaws and APs. All appointments to committee chairs are one year; editors-in-chief have two year terms.
