Thank you for contributing to ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026. This page includes key deadlines and information to help you prepare your presentation and ensure a smooth experience when presenting in San Diego.
Please review the important dates below and plan accordingly.
All speaker agreements and required disclosure forms must be completed.
Speakers will receive slide upload instructions. Official ANES PowerPoint template.
All presentation slides must be uploaded by this deadline. On-site slide uploads will not be accepted. Speakers may make minor edits, such as updating data after new research, with permission during the meeting in the Speaker Ready Room.
Beginning in 2026, all presentation slides must be submitted in advance of the meeting.
This shift is a critical step for ASA in maintaining ACCME accreditation, fulfilling its obligation to ensure educational content is independent, evidence-based, and free from commercial bias. Advance submission provides a window for peer review and mitigation of potential conflicts before the content is presented to learners, which is a core requirement for compliance.
Submitting slides in advance also helps ensure a smooth presentation experience for speakers by allowing time to address any issues prior to the meeting. Speakers will still be able to make minor adjustments on site, but full slide uploads will not be permitted during the meeting. Failure to comply with the submission deadline may result in forfeiture of the ability to display slides during the presentation.
If you have questions about speaker requirements or deadlines, please contact the ASA education team at annmtg@asahq.org.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we want to ensure you have the support you need to deliver your presentation. If you require accessibility accommodations for your session, please reach out to meetings@asahq.org by September 18, 2026.
