ASA PLUS is a new, flexible, personalized subscription offering a growing assortment of digital content. This includes short-form educational videos, select sessions from the ANESTHESIOLOGY® annual meeting and ASA® ADVANCE, including content previously available through OnDemand, and expert-developed original programming.
Content within ASA PLUS will be continuously expanded and updated each month, helping you stay at the forefront of clinical and business innovation. ASA PLUS will be available as part of ANESTHESIOLOGY annual meeting registration beginning in late May, or as a standalone subscription starting in July. Be the first to know—sign up to be notified when ASA PLUS is available.

Yes. More than 300 hours of content will be available for eligible ASA PLUS videos based on viewing and completion requirements. Up to 100 hours of CME can be claimed per year.
ASA PLUS automatically tracks the amount of CME you’ve earned from watching and listening to videos. 1 hour = 1 CME.
CME can be claimed from the ASA PLUS app by going to the “Credit” page and clicking “Claim Credit.”
ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026 registrants can purchase ASA PLUS alongside their meeting registration for early access starting late May. Everyone else can purchase ASA PLUS starting in July 2026—sign up to be notified when ASA PLUS is available.
Pricing is based on membership status and type. ASA members can subscribe for $399/year. Nonmembers can subscribe for $699/year. Customers also have the option to spread payments over 12 months or pay for the full year upfront.
ASA PLUS is a one-year subscription. Subscribers get access to 300+ videos including new monthly ASA Originals content, and recordings from ANESTHESIOLOGY 2025 and 2026 and ASA ADVANCE 2026, with more meeting content added after each event.
Customers will have the option to renew their subscription annually and even set up auto-renewal if they wish.

If you purchased the OnDemand product previously, you do not automatically get access to other videos offered in ASA PLUS and must subscribe.
Last year, 225+ sessions totaling over 300 hours of content were recorded from ANESTHESIOLOGY 2025 and will be available on ASA PLUS. We anticipate a similar volume for 2026. ASA PLUS will also include recordings from ASA ADVANCE 2026 and new monthly ASA Originals content.
No. ASA PLUS provides on‑demand, recorded content only. There will be no livestreaming.
Videos from ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026 will be available on ASA PLUS starting in November 2026.

Yes. ASA PLUS tracks watch time for CME-designated content, and learners earn 1 credit per 1 hour watched. Learners can log into ASA PLUS and click “Credit” at the top of the page. From there, they can claim their accumulated CME or Patient Safety credits. We advise waiting until the end of the year since credits can only be claimed once per year.
Yes. ASA plans to offer a mobile app in summer 2026 that will allow for offline downloads. In the meantime, ASA PLUS can still be used on mobile devices via web browser.
Yes. ASA PLUS allows all videos to be listened to from a mobile device when on-the-go, even while your device is locked.
Yes. All videos have a “My List” option, so learners can easily find them in their account later. (Go to Profile > My List)

Yes, ASA PLUS uses a recommendation engine that predicts what learners are likely to watch next. It tracks your behavior: what was watched, how long watched, history, and preferences, and then surfaces videos that match that pattern and encourages repeated visits. You can also set your preferences in your ASA PLUS profile, and the recommendation engine will also take these settings into account.
