Chris D. Glover, MD, MBA, FAAP

Chris D. Glover, MD, MBA, FAAP is a senior physician executive and professor of anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine, serving as associate anesthesiologist-in-chief at Texas Children’s Hospital. In this role, he provides operational and strategic leadership for a complex pediatric anesthesia enterprise spanning more than 70 anesthetizing locations across multiple campuses, overseeing over 100 anesthesiologists and 40 advanced practice providers.

Dr. Glover holds multiple leadership roles within the American Society of Anesthesiologists and state and specialty societies, contributing to policy, professional development, economics, and workforce strategy for the specialty. He is also a proven academic leader, having directed major educational programs, mentored generations of trainees and junior faculty, and led institutional initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion. His leadership is grounded in a commitment to service, accountability, and the development of future physician leaders.

Dr. James L. Hill, MD, MBA, FASA

Dr. James L. Hill is chief operating officer of University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, where he leads operational and strategic initiatives for one of the largest community hospitals in the University Hospitals system. A board-certified anesthesiologist and critical care physician, he has been recognized twice by Becker’s Healthcare as a “Top COO to Know” and has led UH Parma to numerous national quality and safety awards, including CMS 5-Star recognition.

Dr. Hill is also an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Northeast Ohio Medical University, where he mentors future physician leaders. A nationally recognized speaker, author, and healthcare innovator, he has published extensively on hospital operations, quality improvement, and patient safety. He is the co-founder of Hemaptics and holds patents for artificial intelligence applications in blood management.

A fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American Association for Physician Leadership, Dr. Hill is passionate about advancing healthcare through innovation, physician leadership, and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has successfully bridged the worlds of clinical medicine and healthcare administration, driving meaningful improvements in patient outcomes, safety, and organizational performance.

Keya Locke, MD, MBA

Keya Locke, MD, MBA, serves as the medical director of perioperative services at UF-North in Jacksonville Florida. Dr. Locke has been an assistant professor at UF Jacksonville since 2017. She completed medical school at UF Gainesville, residency at UF Jacksonville, and graduated from UF Warrington School of Business with an MBA in 2020. Her current interests include practice management and organizational behavior. She hopes to bring a better understanding of how organizations “breathe” and begin to apply strategies of successful organizations to medical ones. Dr. Locke is a member of the ASA practice management and women in anesthesia committees.
